Financial Services

Welcome to the home page of the Office of Financial Services at Armstrong Atlantic State University. We have developed this site to better serve our students, faculty, and staff and to offer information relating to our services and activities. We are located in Room 113 of the Burnett Hall. The cashier is located in the main lobby of the Burnett Hall. Our staff consists of four divisions: Student Accounts, Accounting, Payroll, and Administration.

Our Mission

The mission of the Office of Financial Services is to serve the students, faculty, and staff of the university relating to financial and business activities. In supporting the university's academic objectives of teaching, research, and service, Financial Services seeks to promote sound financial administration using strong internal controls through effective and efficient management.

In achieving our mission, our office will strive to:

• Establish and communicate policies and procedures necessary to ensure the proper and efficient use of university resources.
• Receive and deposit funds due to the university.
• Maintain and process the university's payroll.
• Ensure the prompt and proper settlement of amounts owed the university.
• Maintain the university's accounting and financial reporting systems.
• Maximize the university's investment earnings.
• Provide financial analysis and advice as necessary to ensure the university's financial integrity.
• Forward payments to vendors and employees.
• Process student financial aid in a timely manner.
