Tuition and Fees
Starting in the Fall 2006, the Board of Regents established a new tuition rate for certain undergraduate students. This was done to help ensure that students can predict and plan for educational expenses. This tuition rate category applied to new freshmen, certain new transfers, and certain others. These students will pay the same tuition rate for four years. This locked-in rate is for tuition only; it does not lock in other rates such as athletic fees, activity fees, etc. It was known as the Guaranteed Tuition Plan (GTP). All other undergraduate tuition was charged at the Non-Guaranteed Tuition Rate. Graduate students are charged at the graduate tuition rate.
Starting Fall 2007, there will be four tuition rates charged based upon the student's classification.
- Graduate - for graduate students
- Continuing - for undergraduate students who entered Armstrong prior to Fall 2006
- Fixed-For-Four (Year 1) - for freshmen students and certain others who entered Armstrong Fall 2006 - Summer 2007
- Fixed-For-Four (Year 2) - for freshmen students and certain others who entered Armstrong Fall 2007 - Summer 2008
- Fixed-For-Four (Year 3) - for freshmen students and certain others who entered Armstrong Fall 2008 - Summer 2009
Students are classified by the Registrar's Office as to which of the four tuition rates they will be charged. Make sure you find out your status before using the rates as a guide.
